Sevilla and Chelsea advance - Haaland show against Club Brugge
Sevilla and Chelsea have advanced to the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The Spaniards beat Krasnodar in Russia 2-1 thanks to a late goal by Munir and Chelsea beat Stade Rennais 2-1 thanks to a last-minute goal by striker Olivier Giroud.
Both games in fact looked like 1-1 draws going into extra-time. In Krasnodar, Sevilla had taken the early lead after Lucas Ocampos set up Ivan Rakitić in the fourth minute. Then in the 56th minute, Wanderson equalized for Krasnodar before Munir scored the winner in the 95th minute for Sevilla.
It was a very similar story in France. Chelsea took the lead in the 22nd minute, thanks after Mason Mount set up Callum Hudson-Odoi. Chelsea were on course until the 85th minute when Serhou Guirassy equalized for Stade Rennais. The Ligue 1 side thought that they had won a point until Giroud headed home a late winner.

Late games - Neymar wins it for PSG, Man United, and BVB with victories
In the late games, once again it was the Erling Haaland show as Borussia Dortmund made a big step towards the round of 16. Haaland scored twice (18' & 60') and Jadon Sancho ended his poor run of form with a wonderful freekick to secure Dortmund a 3-0 victory over Club Brugge.
The second German side in action on Tuesday was less fortunate. Although on balance the better side in France, it was Paris Saint-Germain that would secure the three points after Ángel Di Maria was brought inside the box by Marcel Sabitzer. Neymar stepped up to score the winner.
Manchester United made the most of the result and smashed Turkish side Basaksehir 4-1. That result puts Man United in the driver's seat in the hotly contested Group H, three points ahead of PSG and Leipzig.
