De Boer liet Tete in het verleden bij Ajax doorbreken in de hoofdmacht en is nog altijd gecharmeerd van de vleugelverdediger. Maandag werd ook Joël Veltman in verband gebracht met Crystal Palace.
Premier League-Klub Crystal Palace beschäftigt sich offenbar intensiv mit Rechtsverteidiger Kenny Tete (21) von Ajax Amsterdam, meldet 'Voetbal International'. Demnach hatte Galatasaray Istanbul bereits eine Einigung mit dem Klub, der niederländische Nationalspieler wolle aber nicht in die Türkei. Tete schaffte bei Ajax unter Palace-Manager Frank de Boer den Durchbruch.
